Animal Answers: Helping Homeless Pets this Valentine’s Day
Borris the Four-Year-Old Shih Tzu Mix Stopped by FOX 21 Local News Wednesday; He's Currently up for Adoption
DULUTH, Minn. – This year on Valentine’s Day, you have the chance to help out homeless pets in the Northland.
Pizza Luce is partnering up with Animal Allies Humane Society by donating 100 percent of dessert proceeds to the shelter.
All you have to do, is simply say “yes” when asked if you’d like to see a dessert menu. Whether you pick up your dessert to go, or eat in the restaurant, all proceeds will make way to Animal Allies Humane Society.
This year, the money will go toward the Healing Hearts and Paws Fund, helping animals that require more medical care than others.
Pizza Luce is located in downtown Duluth at 11 East Superior Street.
Marketing and Communications Manager Michelle Sternberg also brought along a friend for this week’s Animal Answers.
Borris is a white and cream Shih Tzu mix who is four years old.
He came to Animal Allies from a previous home and is now looking for a new forever home.
Borris is a calm and independent dog who enjoys going to car rides and chasing his tail.
Staff at the shelter say he gets along with kids, but is fearful of other dogs.
He is neutered and will be microchipped and vaccinated by the time of adoption.
If you’re interested in adoption, visit Boris at Animal Allies located at 4006 Airport Road or call (218) 722-5341.
