Duluth Polar Bear Plunge is Saturday
Plungers Dive into Lake Superior for Good Cause
DULUTH, Minn. – This weekend hundreds of people will be jumping into the frigid waters of Lake Superior all for a good cause.
The Duluth Polar Bear Plunge is taking place on Saturday, February 17.
The annual dive ito the lake raises money for Special Olympics Minnesota.
Duluth Police Officer Mike Thamm says Minnesota has one of the biggest Special Olympics programs in the world.
