Fight To The Finish Could Benefit UMD Men’s Hockey

NCHC Playoffs Begin March 9th

DULUTH, Minn- A season that started lacking any consistency turned into a hot streak to start the new year, but has gone cold recently at the hands of now No.3 St.Cloud State University, and 2nd ranked Denver University. However, despite the recent string of losses the ‘Dogs still have a shot at home ice advantage come the NCHC postseason, and a fight to the finish just might benefit the dogs in the long run.

Hermantown native, and senior forward Jared Thomas saying, “Teams that come in playing until the last game the go into playoffs with that same mentality, so we’re just going to go play like it’s a playoff game, that when were our best, so.”
