North Shore Scenic Railroad Officials Seek New Conductors

Conductor Classes are Open at All

DULUTH, Minn. – If you’ve ever wanted to contribute to the history and legacy of the North Shore Scenic Railroad now is your chance.

The North Shore Scenic Railroad is always looking for more volunteers, and now they’re looking for new conductors.

Railroad officials are holding a series of classes for those interested in the task.

They are starting up Wednesday, February 21.

These classes are designed for beginners.

The course includes classroom and hands-on training culminating in graduation and then successfully passing the General Code of Operating Rules (GCOR) class and exam.

The cost is $16 for the entire program.
