Adopt Julie the Cat Today!

Julie is Available for Adoption at Animal Allies Humane Society; Located at 4006 Airport Road in Duluth, Minnesota

DULUTH, Minn. – Every year on the last Tuesday of February, animal activists join forces to advocate for World Spay Day.

This annual campaign shines a light on the power of affordable, accessible spay and neuter to save the lives of many animals.

Animal Allies Humane Education Manager Shawna Weaver stopped by FOX 21 Local News Wednesday morning to discuss the importance of the day locally.

Weaver says having your animal spayed or neutered has three benefits.

  1. Better Behavior
  2. Fewer Accidents
  3. Healthier

Weaver also brought in Julie the cat. She is a black and white domestic medium hair who is nine years old.

Julie came to Animal Allies from a previous home and is now looking for her new forever home.

Staff at Animal Allies say Julie is a sweet lady who enjoys neck scratches. She may seem a little timid at first, but when she gets comfortable with someone she warms right up!

Julie’s adoption fee has been sponsored.

She’s located at 4006 Airport Road. You can call the shelter at (218) 722-5341 for more information.
