Minnesota Named Number One Best State for Women

WalletHub ranked key factors such as income, uninsured rates, and graduation rates.

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – WalletHub has ranked Minnesota the No. 1 state for women.

In the report, WalletHub looked at key factors such as income, uninsured rates, graduation rates, and lowest percentage of women in poverty.

“In order to identify the best and worst states for women, WalletHub compared the 50 states and the District of Columbia across two key dimensions, “Women’s Economic & Social Well-Being” and “Women’s Health & Safety,” states WalletHub’s website.

With a total score of 78.22 Minnesota came in at number 1 with Massachusetts and Vermont taking the second and third place rankings.
