Cloquet Applebee’s to Shut its Doors on Sunday

Between 60 and 80 locations are expected to close this year.

CLOQUET, Minn. – The Cloquet Applebee’s will be closing its doors for good this Sunday.

Business Insider is reporting that it is expected that the national chain will be closing between 60 and 80 locations this year after closing nearly 100 last year.

According to area management about 40 people currently work at the Cloquet location.

They state that current employees are eligible for positions at other Applebee’s locations in the state.

Both Duluth and Superior locations will remain open.
