Duluth Airport Launches Larger Capacity Flight in Early Morning

The early flight targets travelers headed to and from Chicago O’Hare airport.

DULUTH, Minn. – Travelers rejoice!

A new early morning flight is booking right out of the Duluth International Airport.

The new plane launched for the first time just this past weekend.

The United Airlines flight features a 150-capacity jet that offers first class seating and on-board WIFI.

The early flight targets travelers headed to and from Chicago O’Hare airport.

“This was the natural next progression in the growth of this route,” says airport Executive Director Tom Werner.  “Much more capacity – many more seats available on a daily basis, an advanced aircraft that can handle bad weather, a larger dual-class cabin.”

The larger plane holds triple the capacity of the previous plane that the Duluth International Airport used on the early morning united flight.

Flight times vary, but the average departure for this route is 6:10am.
