Economic Outlook for Northland to be Discussed at Annual Forum

Coffee Conversation: REIF Breakfast

DULUTH, Minn. -Next month Northlanders will have the chance to learn about the area’s economic outlook.

The National Bank of Commerce is hosting the annual REIF Breakfast on Tuesday, April 3.

The Regional Economic Indicators Forum gives local business owners an opportunity to network and receive information on current business trends.

Students from local colleges, The University of Minnesota – Duluth, The College of St. Scholastica, and The University of Wisconsin – Superior, have been researching these trends and will present their findings.

Neel Kashkari, the President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, will be the keynote speaker. Kashkari is expected to discuss the health of the Duluth economy.

The mission of the forum is to drive growth, prosperity and collaboration across the region.

The breakfast will be from 7 – 8 a.m. with the program following from 8:00 – 9:30 a.m. in the DECC Harbor Side Ballroom.
