Miss United States Pageant Selects State Runway Winners for Minnesota

Minnesota Winners Head To National Pageant To Compete Next

BRAINERD, Minn. — On Saturday, 27 female Minnesotans competed for the crown to be Miss Minnesota United States! From teenagers to wives, mothers and entrepreneurs, all of these women wanted to represent our State in Nationals. Each contestant was judged in four different categories. It’s not just a bikini and evening gown competition down the runway, but a random question to see how they think on their feet and also, one-on-one interviews with the judges.

Brittney Merlot and Brett Scott were honored to be two of the five judges, deciding who will represent Miss Minnesota!

There are six categories, AND THE WINNERS OF THE CROWN ARE…

Jr. Teen: Kylie Christenson (Former Miss Junior Teen Brainerd)

Teen: Maddie Helget (Former Miss Teen Clearwater)

Miss: Mandy Peterson (Former Miss Monticello)

Ms: Alyssa DeTorre (Former Ms, Minneapolis)

Ms Woman: Tracy Phillippi (Former Ms. Woman Twin Cities)

Mrs: Kimberly Stommes (Former Mrs. Central Minnesota)

These women will be headed to Orlando, Florida to represent Minnesota and compete in the Miss United States Pageant in June! They will also be expanding their platform and non-profit organizations in hopes to fix struggles we face as a community and State.
