New car Prices Climbing
Auto dealers believe new car prices are climbing too high.
DULUTH, Minn. – Auto dealers believe new car prices may be climbing a bit too high.
Experts say tighter credit, higher interest rates and metal tariffs are all working to push up new car prices.
The reported price of a new car to date through February is about $32,000, according to JD Power.
That figure is up about $500 from last year.
The National Automobile Dealers Association says rising interest rates and prices could result in fewer cars sold in 2018.
