Superior Elks Donation to Benefit Hundreds of Children

Superior Elks #403 Recently Donated $1,000 to Two Accounts After Receiving a Grant from the Elks National Foundation

SUPERIOR, Wisc. – The Superior Elks #403 was recently awarded two grants in the amount of $1,000 each from the Elks National Foundation.

Grants Coordinator Cris Crum says one of the $1,000 checks will be awarded to the Now Account. This fund provides food for kids who can’t afford lunches.

The other check will be donated to the Angel Fund, covering other expenses students can’t afford.

Crum says this money will impact hundreds of students throughout the Superior community.

This is the first time the Superior Elks #403 has been able to obtain this amount of money. They recently designated Crum as Grant Coordinator.

Wednesday morning the Elks met with sixth graders at Superior Middle School to talk with them about how these funds will help make a difference.
