Easter Sunday celebrated in the Northland

St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Duluth celebrated with a Easter buffet after services

DULUTH, Minn. – Easter Sunday brought together family and friends across the Northland this weekend.

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Duluth was one of many churches that hosted Easter celebrations, both during and after services. Rev. Bill Van Oss said Easter is a special day, not only for the faith, but for the community it brings together.

“One of the wonderful things about Easter Sunday is that there are a lot of extended families that come together, and they come to church, so we have a lot of visitors, extended family and friends of the church,” Rev. Van Oss said. “It’s just marvelous to have everybody together to celebrate this most sacred day.”

The church held an Easter buffet after services and invited any one in the community to come and join them.
