Push for Food Donations Intensifies as July Ends

The Salvation Army of Duluth is Looking to Match Food Donations Throughout the Month of July

DULUTH, Minn. – The month of July is winding down, and for the Salvation Army of Duluth, the push for food donations is intensifying before August approaches.

Throughout the month of July, all monetary food donations are being matched by the Salvation Army.

Staff at the Salvation Army say summer months are the most difficult to collect the amount of donations needed.

It’s also one of the most crucial times that donations are needed, as many children are out of school and often go without proper food on the table at home.
