Haunted Ridge Opens Friday

The haunted shack is in a new location this year, at the Ru-Ridge Corn Maze

CARLTON, Minn. – The Haunted Ridge opened tonight in Carlton.

The attraction combines the Haunted Shack that formerly took place at the Buffalo House Restaurant with the Ru-Ridge Corn Maze.

For the first time this year, guests can take a hay ride through the forest and a haunted walk through the corn maze before entering the haunted shack.

“He actually left a light on in the shack here a few nights ago and I had to come in the dark and find it and shut it off and it was scary just doing that so I can only imagine once he gets it up and running,” said Angela Line, co-owner of Ru-Ridge.

The Haunted Ridge is a fundraiser for the Minnesota Special Olympics, local food shelf, and Northland Coat Drive.

Here’s a schedule of the event.
