‘Jackets Joe Mooney Named UMAC Men’s Soccer Coach of the Year

Blake Perry was named Rookie of the Year and A.J. Olson was named Defensive Player of the Year.

SUPERIOR, Wisc. – The UMAC announced the end of the season awards and Wisconsin-Superior took home three of the major awards.

Head coach Joe Mooney was named UMAC Coach of the Year after leading the ‘Jackets to a regular season and conference tournament win.

Freshman Blake Perry was named Rookie of the Year, thanks to a ten–goal campaign this past season. A.J. Olson was named UMAC Defensive Player of the Year while leading a backline that has surrendered a conference–leading 1.035 goals per game.
