Duluth Public Library Offers Tax Help

Tax prep offered Monday and Saturday

DULUTH, Minn.- Taxes.

They can get so confusing and stump even the best of them.

If that sounds like you, you may want to pay an extra visit to the Duluth Public Library.

On Monday, students from UMD’s Accounting Department were on hand to help with tax prep, free for those with low income, disabilities, and seniors.

They say with a photo I.D. and all the necessary tax paperwork, you can get your taxes done for this year, and your returns from last year.

“The site’s open first come first serve,” said Site Coordinator Angela Braud. “So there may or may not be delays in helping people, but we attempt to help everyone that arrives and stays.”

The tax help will return to the library Saturday from 10:30am-3:30pm.
