Prep Boys Hockey: Greyhounds, Hunters, Hawks Win Big at Home
Duluth East, Duluth Denfeld and Hermantown all kicked off the last week of the regular season on high notes.
DULUTH, Minn. – On the first day of the last week of the regular season for boys high school hockey, Duluth East, Duluth Denfeld and Hermantown all got home wins.
For the Greyhounds, Jacob Jeannette, Jonathan Jones and Ryder Donovan each scored twice while Brendan Baker, Jack FitzGerald, Nolan Aleff and Jack Fellman each tallied one as they took down Superior 10-0.
For the Hunters, Griffin Lehet, Zach DeCaro, Jacob Eskola and Payton Budisalovich all scored as Duluth Denfeld defeated Hibbing/Chisholm 4-1.
Over in Hermantown, the Hawks rallied to get the 5-3 win over Virginia/Mountain Iron-Buhl. Blake Biondi scored twice while Brady Baker, Matt Erickson and Aydyn Dowd all also scored in the win.
