UMD Pharmacy Students Take Part in Annual Research Symposium

Another pharmacy research symposium was also held today in the Twin Cities at the University of Minnesota.

DULUTH, Minn. – The annual research symposium was held at the College of Pharmacy today.

The event is intended to showcase recent research from students and faculty.

Each year a special keynote speaker is invited.

Their special guest this year was a clinical pharmacist from Essentia who shared his experiences with research.

Organizers are hoping the annual event encourages students throughout their tenure at UMD.

“I think it inspires students about different areas of pharmacy,” said UMD Pharmacy Student Brianna Ferrell.

“I think it is important that students get exposed to as much as they can to inspire them to do their own research and pursue those career paths,” Ferrell continues.
