Fishing and Fundraising Saturday on the St. Louis River
The Lincoln Park Business Group is Hosting the 19th Annual Lincoln Park Walleye Open Saturday, June 22
DULUTH, Minn. – Eager anglers are invited to register for the 19th annual Lincoln Park Walleye Open happening Saturday, June 22 on the St. Louis River.
Tournament participants will begin casting at 8:00 a.m. anywhere on the St. Louis River.
Each angler is welcome to weigh-in one walleye at the weigh-in station on Rice’s Point Landing off Garfield Ave.
Weigh-ins run from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
All contestants must be registered and have a signed waiver on file by the first weigh-in.
Only walleye caught on a hook and line will be accepted for weigh-in.
Prizes will be given to the largest fish based on weight. The 40th largest fish wins the top prize of $1,000.
Money raised during the event will help support the Lincoln Park Business Group.
Each year, the LPBG donates the funds to different organizations in Lincoln Park to help the community thrive well into the future.
