Volunteers Needed For Non-Profit Helping Aging Adults

Age Well Arrowhead is looking for volunteers to help those unable to do normal everyday things

DULUTH, Minn.- Volunteers are needed to help a non-profit connect aging adults with the services they need to live healthier lives.

Age Well Arrowhead will take volunteers of all ages to help people who aren’t able to do normal everyday things like grocery shopping, mowing the lawn, or even just spending time with someone.

“We are always so excited when they select Age Well to do that opportunity because working with an older population isn’t always as exciting as working with puppies or working with youth. So to get those who identify an opportunity that’s like being with their grandma or grandpa when they are away from home is a win–win for everybody”, said Mary Bovee, Executive Director at Age Well Arrowhead.

Right now, Age Well Arrowhead is in need of volunteers who can fill and deliver grocery orders to older adults in the area. The will even work around your schedule and college students are encouraged to apply.
