Maurices Employees Hold ‘Best Day Ever’

Maurices shut down their headquarters in downtown Duluth to give back to the community

DULUTH, Minn.- Maurices employees shut down their headquarters in downtown Duluth for the day, to take time giving back to local non-profits. It’s part of the company’s “Best Day Ever”.

Life House for homeless and street youth was one of the non-profits employees volunteered at today. Associates rolled in a boutique of Maurices clothing and jewelry for the young people to choose from. George Goldfarb, Maurices’ President and CEO tells us the “Best Day Ever” is a highlight every year.

“It is so important to the organization, and it’s so important to me. I have every year people will come up to me and say George, you can take anything away, but don’t ever take away “Best Day Ever” because that’s how much they appreciate getting out in the community”, said Goldfarb.

Maurices is a women’s specialty apparel retailer founded right here in Duluth in 1931 operating 940 stores in the US.
