Bentleyville USA in Need of Volunteers, Donations
Coffee Conversation: 2019 Bentleyville USA; Need for Volunteers, Donations
DULUTH, Minn. – Bentleyville USA will flip on the lights for another year of holiday cheer Saturday, November 23.
The need for volunteers is in high demand.
Nathan Bentley, founder of Bentleyville USA, tells FOX 21 there are six weeks of work to be finished in a matter of four weeks.
Volunteers are needed Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., as well as Wednesday nights from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Weekend volunteers also receive pop, water, donuts, and a lunch catered by a local restaurant.
Bentley says volunteers are needed to help string lights, prepare parking lots, painting, and building displays.
During Bentleyville USA, 60 volunteers are needed every night to make the display happen.
New this year, Bentley is looking to raise $12,000 to purchase a new, commercial grade popcorn machine.
Bentley says the operation currently runs off six old popcorn machines, which require frequent repairs throughout the season.

Bentleyville is also hosting the annual Golden Ticket Candy Bar Fundraiser. Local Holiday stations are once again the place to grab your $1 candy bars, with a chance to win many cool prizes, and possibly one of many golden ticket prizes.
Also new this year, the massive Bentleyville tree is being renovated with 150,000 new LED lights. There will be multiple new displays. The light display is completely illuminated by 100 percent LED lights as of 2019.
