UMD Students get Networking Opportunity
UMD students applying for jobs and internships met leaders in the field they're pursuing.
DULUTH, Minn.- UMD students applying for jobs and internships met leaders in the field they’re pursuing.
Some students tell us they’re interested in working in music industry, with another saying they want to start their own biochemistry company. Networking with professionals to prepare for post-college careers can help students launch into the next chapter of their lives.
“Networking is so important. We can learn all the basics and logistics in the classroom but its what you take out of the classroom that really matters and the entrepreneurship conference gives us a chance to talk to business professionals about where we should go from here, any ideas, any connections they may have for the career I am looking for”, said Cassidy Bonsante, HR Director for the Entrepreneurship Conference.
The conference was run by the Labovitz School of Business and Economics.
