Woman in Custody After Fleeing Into Woods Following Police Chase

DULUTH, Minn. – Duluth Police say a woman is in custody following a chase with deputies early Friday morning.

According to a recent Duluth Police Department Facebook post, a vehicle fled from a MN State Trooper and crashed into a snowbank after a short pursuit.

The female driver then fled on foot into the woods.

Duluth Police assisted in the search for the woman who was located in the woods a short time later.

Authorities say she was taken into custody without incident.

The identification of the driver is unknown at this time, but police say she had multiple felony warrants for her arrest.
