Glensheen Mansion Cancels ‘Fire Fest’ Event

DULUTH, Minn. – The Fire Fest event scheduled for February 15th at the Glensheen Mansion has been canceled.

Glensheen announced the cancellation Friday saying Fire Fest had many unexpected elements that required additional planning time with a wide variety of stakeholders.

Glensheen said a “cool new future” for the wooden shark made for Fire Fest is being planned for this summer.

The historic mansion apologized to community members who were excited for the upcoming event, saying Glensheen is “bummed” too.
