St. Scholastica Women’s Hockey’s Season Ends in NCHA Slaats Cup Championship

The Saints end the season 15-10-4 (9-4-3 NCHA).

ADRIAN, Mich. – For the second year in a row, the St. Scholastica women’s hockey team battled Adrian in the NCHA Slaats Cup championship game, but once again, Adrian was too much and got the 4-0 win on Saturday to end the Saints’ season.

The Saints outshot the Bulldogs 28-22 in the game but were unable to find the back of the net. The Saints were down 2-0 late in the third before giving up two empty-net goals to seal the win for Adrian. Lexi Thomeczek finished with 18 saves for the Saints.

St. Scholastica ends the season 15-10-4 (9-4-3 NCHA).
