MSHSL Prohibits All Athletic Activities for Spring Sports

This comes just two days after the league proposed limited participation.

BROOKLYN CENTER, Minn. – The Minnesota State High School League announced Sunday afternoon that there will be no activities or athletics at any member schools from Wednesday, March 18th to Friday, March 27th.

This comes after Minnesota Governor Tim Walz announced that all schools in the state will be closed from March 18th to March 27th. The MSHSL’s decision includes training, practices, scrimmages and contests. They added that the previous directive prohibiting scrimmages, contests and competitions for spring activities and athletics will continue until April 6th.
