Cloquet Native Westin Michaud Signs with AHL’s Manitoba Moose

The Moose are the AHL affiliate of the Winnipeg Jets who are home to Hermantown natives Neal Pionk and Dylan Samberg.

CLOQUET, Minn. – Universtiy of North Dakota forward Westin Michaud has signed with the Manitoba Moose of the AHL.

The Cloquet native was tied for the team lead in goals with 16 and added 12 assists to help the Fighting Hawks capture the Penrose Cup as the top team in the NCHC. Michaud spent the first three years of his college career at Colorado College, tallying 29 goals and 62 points in 114 games.
