Former UMD Captain Sidney Morin Signs Contract Extension with SDHL

Morin tallied 49 points in her first season with the HV-71.

DULUTH, Minn. – Former UMD women’s hockey defenseman Sidney Morin signed a one-year contract extension with the HV-71 of the Swedish Women’s Hockey League (SDHL).

Morin tallied 49 points in her first season with the HV-71 and her third season in the league. The HV-71 is the top team in the league.

Morin served as team captain her final season with UMD and won gold at the 2018 Olympics with Team USA and fellow Bulldog Maddie Rooney.
