Protesters Rally Outside of Duluth Pack During Ivanka Trump Visit

Some protesters believe hosting Ivanka Trump will have a negative effect on Duluth Pack's reputation.

DULUTH, Minn. – Dozens of protesters gathered outside of Duluth Pack to protest the visit of the president’s daughter.

Many of them are calling for change expressing frustration over the administration’s handling of the Covid-19 outbreak.

One protester was even dressed as a doctor from the medieval times of the black plague.

“So my question is, who speaks for the dead. Is there a pledge to American workers for the 140,000 plus dead Americans,” Duluth Resident, Allen Richardson says.

Other protesters voiced their concerns over the administration’s decision to lift restrictions on mining in the BWCA.

Some protesters believe hosting Ivanka Trump will have a negative impact on Duluth Pack’s reputation.

“I think Duluth Pack is going to take a an economic hit because their target is the outdoors people. The environmentalists; that’s their target market and it’s a big middle finger to their target market,” Protester, Claire Kirch says.

Once Ivanka Trump left Duluth Pack, protesters peacefully laid down outside the front doors of the store.

No arrests have been made.
