New Beer Garden Opens

DULUTH, Minn. – One local brewery has opened its own outdoor beer garden.

Over at Bent Paddle in the Lincoln Park Craft District, the staff has put together tables and chairs outside where their guests can sip on some cold brews while staying socially distanced from other groups.

Leadership from the business say their main goal is to keep people safe.

“What we have out here can’t be found anywhere else inside,” said Pepin Young, the director of taproom operations at Bent Paddle. “It’s fresh air. We can change our systems and we can bring more fresh air in, we can open doors, we can have a very open environment. But there are a lot more folks who feel much more comfortable outside than they do inside.”

Masks are required while not at your table at the beer garden.

There is also a maximum table use of 90 minutes. Food can be delivered curbside or brought in by the people in your group.
