One Dead After ‘Industrial Accident’ in Superior

SUPERIOR, Wis. – Superior Police say one person has died in an ‘isolated industrial accident’ in Superior Tuesday morning.

According to police, officers responded to reports of an accident at a business located in the South End around 9:15 a.m.

Authorities say after arriving at the scene they learned that someone had an accident that involved a heavy piece of equipment.

Rescue personnel determined the person died from their injuries.

The Superior Police Department says they will not be providing additional information about the accident or the person who died until next of kin has been notified.
