Prep Soccer: Hermantown Girls, Duluth Marshall Boys Earn Home Victories

It was a narrow victory for the Hermantown girls and blowout win for the Duluth Marshall boys.

HERMANTOWN, Minn. – Macy Sieger scored twice in the first half as the Hermantown girls soccer team knocked off Grand Rapids 3-2 Tuesday afternoon at the Centricity Stadium at Corey Veech Memorial Field.

Natalee Bushman also scored twice for the Thunderhawks, while Callie Showalter scored the other goal for the Hawks.

In prep boys action, Duluth Marshall scored five goals in each half as they ran past Ashland 10-0. Brendan Friday finished with a hat trick and Grant Williams scored his first two career varsity goals. Masaki Hirata, Nick Ross, Shane Yokota, Phillips Cebrian, and Logan Johnsrud also scored for the Hilltoppers.
