Great Outdoors: Into the Wild Artography Gallery Opening in Aurora

AURORA, Minn. – Minnesota’s natural beauty is no secret and photographer Aaron Jordahl is using that beauty to open his own art gallery called Into the Wild Artography in downtown Aurora.
“Everybody dreams about being an artist when they grow up I’m trying to make that dream a reality,” says Jordahl.
Jordahl and his camera can be found most often in nature around Northern Minnesota.
“It’s so imperfectly perfect no two petals are identical and it’s those imperfections that add up to a really nice picture,” says Jordahl about nature.
He started taking pictures around 10 years ago and got so good that people started requesting portraits and prints.
“People say the nicest things and I don’t think without the support I’d be where I am,” says Jordahl.
He’s now bringing his own photography and art gallery to Aurora where he will sell his own prints and let other local artists have their works be appreciated as well.
“I envision something where people meet up and exchange art ideas learn from each other and have a place for their art to be displayed that’s pretty important,” says Jordahl.
It will be one of the area’s few art galleries and should be open within the next few months in Aurora.
For Jordahl, it’s all about enjoying the great outdoors.
It’s an adventure to me the whole thing not just the pictures but getting out there taking pictures editing them it’s a lot of fun,” says Jordahl.
He also hopes to offer photography classes at the gallery at some point in the future.
