Hibbing Announces Two-Week Shutdown for Athletics Starting Next Week
The fall sports season comes to an end and the winter sports season will have a delayed start.
HIBBING, Minn. – Hibbing athletic director Meghan Potter says that athletics and activities at Hibbing High School will be shutdown beginning November 16th.
The hope is that they will resume on December 1st. This will mean a delayed start to the winter sports season. As for fall sports, the season comes to an end, meaning the Bluejackets football team played their last game Thursday night against Grand Rapids, which was an 89-0 win for the Thunderhawks. The volleyball team played their final game Thursday night against Esko, falling to the Eskomos 3-1.
