National Salvation Army Week begins in Duluth

DULUTH, Minn.– Today marks the first day of National Salvation Army week to fund-raise for the organization which has a budget of nearly three million dollars. 60% of that comes from private donors.

Dan Williamson, the Development Director at the Duluth Salvation Army said that “2020 was the year of the giver, people just gave and we are just so grateful and people continue to give and that’s what allows us to be able to meet the most needs that we can”.

This week the Duluth Salvation Army will be posting a trivia question daily on Facebook and Instagram at 9:09 AM. The first person to answer the question correctly can win different prizes each day, such as gift baskets or gift cards.
