Lake Superior Zoo Hosting First-Ever ‘Backyard Bash’
The Backyard Bash is Happening Friday, July 30 at the Lake Superior Zoo
DULUTH, Minn. – This summer the call of the wild is calling you to the Lake Superior Zoo.
On Friday, July 30, the Zoo is celebrating summer with an inaugural fundraising event.
The Backyard Bash will include live music, yard games, free s’mores, and more.
The staff invites you to bring your friends and family. There will be local food trucks, and the Safari Cafe will be open for those attending.
Local brews will be offered from the beer gardens, and visitors will be able to explore the Zoo after-hours like never before.
The evening will also include a raffle, and up-close encounters with animal friends like Tundra, Banks, and Taami, the new baby monkey at the Zoo.
Backyard Bash is happening from 6 – 9 p.m.
Tickets are $20 in advance for adults and $25 at the door.
Children aged 3 – 17 will enter for $5, and those under the age of two will participate for free.
Proceeds from the event directly help the Lake Superior Zoo care for the animals on site.
