Duluth Police: Four Arrested in Connection to Duluth Shootings

DULUTH, Minn. – Duluth Police say four people were arrested on Monday morning as part of an arrest and search warrant operation in connection to shootings that have occurred in Duluth.

Authorities say the Duluth Police Department, DPD’s Tactical Response Team, the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force, Duluth Police Violent Crimes Unit, and St. Louis County Emergency Response Team conducted arrest and search warrant operations in the 100 block of E 3rd St. and the 800 block of Upham Rd around 8:00 a.m. Monday.

As a result of these operations, a 37-year-old man was arrested on a warrant for second-degree attempted murder, a 30-year-old man was arrested on third-degree sale of fentanyl, a 29-year-old man was arrested on possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, and a 49-year-old man was arrested on fifth-degree possession of fentanyl.

Multiple drugs and weapons were also seized during the operation.

Authorities say all four men were arrested without incident.

Duluth police did not specify which shootings were in connection to the arrests.

This remains an ongoing investigation.
