NorShore Theater Youth Camp to Perform on Vista Fleet

DULUTH, Minn.- The Lake Superior Youth Chorus is teaming up with the Duluth Playhouse and Vista Fleet for a unique summer camp experience this week.

For 8 years, the NorShore Theater has offered youth chorus summer camps for kids from 2nd to 5th grade, but this year, they have the chance to perform on board the Vista Fleet to showcase what they have learned through the four days.

This experience allows kids to become more confident and comfortable while performing, which NorShore staff hopes is a big takeaway from these programs.

“So I think it’s a very unique experience. I’m very excited about these collaborations to make it even more unique. I’ve never heard of a camp where you get to go and take a cruise at the end of the week and do a concert,” Jenna Kelly, Executive Director of Lake Superior Youth Chorus, said.

The camp continues 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM through Thursday, when the kids will perform on board the Vista.
