Full Business Liquidation Auction Planned for Gannucci’s

DULUTH, Minn. -West Duluth’s Gannucci’s Italian Market & Restaurant is holding a full business liquidation next week.

According to a Facebook post by Nordic Auction, a full business liquidation auction will be held on Wednesday, August 25 at 301 North Central Avenue beginning at 4:00 p.m.

Gannucci’s, originally named Conito’s Italian Village, was established in 1976 and was renamed Ganucci’s in 2011.

The restaurant offered a large selection of imported Italian fare and served pizza, hot and cold sandwiches, and spaghetti dinners.

Nordic Auction says the full business liquidation will include all food stock, complete kitchen, coolers, dining room furniture and decor, and much more.

It was not immediately known Tuesday if the liquidation means a permanent closure for Gannucci’s.

A check of the restaurant’s Facebook page has no mention of the closure.
