Proctor Runners Present Medal to Junior High Runner

PROCTOR, Minn. – This week, Noah Harnell competed in the 2400 meter race at the junior high meet as a special needs athlete.

His goal was to run it all the way with no walking.

Rails alum and current St. Scholastica runner Annika Voss has been Noah’s pacer for the past two seasons.

Knowing that he would reach his goal Voss found a medal she had and told her mother to present it to Noah at the finish line.

But when he got there, teammate Aiden Van Straten had the exact same idea as he gave his own varsity medal to Noah.

What a gesture and what a moment for the rails cross country team.
