‘Indigenous First Art & Gift Shop’ Reopens

DULUTH, Minn. — AICHO’s Indigenous First Art & Gift Shop officially reopened on Friday.

The shop features over 80 Indigenous artists and vendors.

There are a variety of items, including artwork, books, beadwork and clothing.

Staff say they are happy to reopen after being closed for nearly 20 months due to the pandemic.

“Supporting these Indigenous artists that might not get the recognition that they deserve to begin with. I think it’s kind of hard to find a place where all of these Indigenous artists come together,” Gift Shop Co-Coordinator, Khayman Goodsky says.

The shop is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
