UMD Softball Picked to Finish Fourth in NSIC Preseason Poll

Hermantown native Jordyn Thomas and pitcher Sam Pederson were named "Players to Watch" at UMD.

DULUTH, Minn. – The UMD sofbtall team was picked to finish fourth in the preseason poll from the NSIC.

The Bulldogs come into the season with first-year head coach Lynn Anderson who takes over a team that went 21-9 last season in conference play. Hermantown native Jordyn Thomas and pitcher Sam Pederson were named “Players to Watch” at UMD. They’ll open their season next Friday in Mankato against Missouri Western State.
