DBS Residential Solutions Shares Tips, Reminders to Help With Basement Flooding

DBS Residential Solutions say it's best to get your home inspected early in the fall to make sure everything is working correctly, but to still give them a call if you star to notice any water or flood damage.

DULUTH, Minn. – It’s that time of year again, the spring freeze/thaw cycle, and more homeowners could see their basements flooding.

Because of the weather and ice melting, that water can easily make its way into basements. DBS Residential Solutions say it’s best to get your home inspected early in the fall to make sure everything is working correctly, but to still give them a call if you star to notice any water or flood damage.

“If you’re to the point where you’re seeing water in your basement, having someone come out to inspect everything, maybe it’s a clogged drain so definitely don’t panic or think the worst until you can have somebody out there who specializes in what might be going on,” design specialist with DBS Residential Solutions James Miller said.

If you experience flooding you can visit the DBS website or call them for more information.
