Duluth Man Arrested For Possession Of Child Pornography

DULUTH, Minn. — A 57-year-old Duluth man was arrested on fifteen counts of possessing child pornography last Friday, according to Duluth police.

Agents with the Internet Crimes Against Children task force, along with the DPD, arrested the man at his home on the 5700-block of Tioga Street just after 2 p.m. on Friday afternoon.

The case has been building for more than a year after the National Center For Missing And Exploited Children received multiple tips about the suspect, who FOX21 cannot name until he is formally charged by the county attorney’s office.

Investigators went through the suspect’s home on February 9th with a search warrant, and left with more than two dozen electronic devices.

After just a few of them had been processed, investigators say they had already found hundreds of images and videos showing sexual abuse and exploitation of children.

The rest of the devices are still being forensically examined as the investigation continues.
