Friends Of Roundelay Garage Sale Fundraiser Happening This Weekend In Duluth
DULUTH, Minn. — The 6th annual Friends of Roundelay garage sale fundraiser is taking place this weekend and all proceeds benefit it’s Girl Scouts camp.
Camp Roundelay has served over 35,000 Girl Scouts since it started in 1958. At the camp, Girl Scouts can go horseback riding, learn how to kayak, make arts and crafts, and more.
Organizers say there is no screen time when you’re at the camp as it is very important to them for kids to get outside.
The garage sale is the camp’s biggest fundraiser of the year.
“Those community members and all this support is really important to us, as that’s a very kind of girl-scouty thing to do. Is to help your community, help your fellow people, and make things better than when you found it,” said Brooke Krastheser, Site Project Coordinator.
The Friends of Roundelay fundraiser is located at 3423 Woodland Avenue in Duluth. It will be going on from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to noon Sunday. No items have a price tag, it is up to you to donate what you believe is the appropriate amount.
