Longtime Esko Basketball Coach Mike Devney to Be Inducted Into MBCA Hall of Fame

Devney spent 19 seasons leading Esko. His best season came in 2014 when the Eskomos captured the Class AA state championship.

ESKO, Minn.- A longtime boys basketball coach for the Eskomos, Mike Devney will be inducted in the Minnesota Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame.

Devney spent 19 seasons leading Esko. His best season came in 2014 when the Eskomos captured the Class AA state championship.

Devney also had stints with Carlton, where he led the Bulldogs to the state title game in 1998 and most recently Duluth Denfeld, where he last coached in 2021.

The ceremony will take place in October in Minneapolis.
