Attempted Robbery At Lincoln Park Gas Station, No Weapons Displayed

Police say there was no money lost, no injuries, and no weapons seen.

DULUTH, Minn. — The Duluth Police Department says an attempted robbery happened Thursday night at the Korner Store gas station in Lincoln Park.

It happened around 9 p.m. at 1831 West Superior Street.

According to DPD Lieutenant Matt McShane, a male entered the building with his hand in his pocket, approached the clerk at the counter, and demanded money.

Authorities say no weapon was displayed or seen. McShane reports that the clerk hit the alarm and the male fled the store.

There were no injuries and no loss of money. DPD squads responded but were unable to locate the suspect.

The investigation is active and ongoing.
