Outdoor enthusiasts flocked to Brule this Memorial Day weekend to enjoy the great outdoors.

"I hope that people start realizing the importance of treating everyone equally," said Adrea Grocke, Co-Chair on the Commission of Disabilities.

Team sports are a great way to get involved. However, for people that live their lives in a wheelchair, options are limited. That's where power chair soccer comes in."It's creating opportunity for everybody to be involved," said Mark Hanna of Courage Kenny Northland.

"We make nothing from this event. It's completely community driven and it's just a good start to the year to get the bike season going," said Kraig Decker of Continental Ski and Bike.

Lake Superior experienced an early thaw making now a great time to get out on the water."The lake's open," says Jake Boyce. "Kayak season has started."

The Duluth Boat, Sports, Travel and RV Show is back at the DECC for the 49th consecutive year, where vendors from across the country are coming together to showcase the newest equipment and hottest items for outdoor recreation.
